Custom sails

id like guess we will need to spend money some how

I believe preset would be the best. If it's truly custom, you're just going to see g******s all over the sails. -_-

I'm all for preset symbols. Though we should be able to change colours, maybe mixing and matching more symbols together or move them around.

I can see a tool like an emblem builder in halo or destiny to create your own sail colours, ship creature, and flags!

I want player custom symbols. Especially Flags should be personal. To the point where even image uploading is acceptable. (With limitation to the size and colors up to 3 for example). But I can see why people might not like that.

(But hey, you have open mic world... I mean there will be a report button and a mute option sooner or later. And if I have a dingdong on my flag and get reported properly I will cry about it on the forums and will learn that if I had read the image upload agreement I wouldnt get a ban)
There are solutions to our problem.

Yet there is no need to go there. I believe Rare will just place a pool of approximately 40 symbols to choose from. In depth customization will be a project to come or not.

But yes I believe that the more freedom on symbol customization the players have the more personal the ships can feel. Meaning players bond more with their ship thus stay in the game more without starting the questions... "why am I doing this?".

I'd love to see it but I think it's just going to be sets you buy from the store and vote on with your crew. So the admiral outfits could come with the admiral ship look. I would definitely love some more personal customisation though! The game deserves individuality!
