@haroldmacgregor nope. You can get it. I was on alpha and will be in closed beta. Haven't pre-ordered though I will get the game just for that swash-buckling fun n chilling watching the storms roll in. If you're on xbox download the insider hub find sea of thieves n go from there... See you on the high seas!!
@haroldmacgregor I’m almost positive it said that if you became an Insider before December 1st (which I’m pretty sure you did) then you will be invited to the closed beta, even if you didn’t preorder the game.👍
@paybacksab888h Head on over to the Store and be signed in with the gamertag in your email and the game should show there for you just before the Beta starts.
If you pre-ordered the game through the Xbox or Windows Store, the game will appear in your games library 24 hours before the Closed Beta begins. You will need to download and install it.
@katttruewalker yeah I have it download already didn't know if they give you a code or something for the beta, making sure I didn't just pre-order the game and miss out on these
@paybacksab888h I think if you order a physical version, you'd need to redeem a code, but the digital is associated with the account you order on :)

We’ve crafted a bespoke experience for Closed Beta players that has been designed to give everyone a taste of the pirate life that they can expect in the full version of the game at release. We won’t be testing the full game during the Closed Beta phase: we want to keep a good selection of things up our sleeves for players to discover at launch.

As long as it offers a good mix of what the game will actually offer when it's fully launched, but I will still hold off pre-ordering until after the closed beta as what I experience in that will effect my final decision.
@aussiecossie You will be able to write about anything and everything you witness while playing in the beta version of the game. Can't wait to see what you come up with :D
@mandatedrex941 Hi there, have the same email problem. But you dont need invite, if u play alpha you automatically invited to the Closed Beta.
Just download the game from the insider app 24h before the beta start.
