I preordered SOT at gamestop for the xbox one and I got the code for the digital but when I redeemed it the message showed the black dog pack but not the game. I want to know if it marks it as the preorder since it is exclusive to it or do i need to contact them.

@darkassasinwolf You're correct, the black dog pack would identify your purchase as a pre order, as it is exclusive to that version of the game.
@katttruewalker ok thank you. Also for the chance to get a preview session since i preordered is there a known chance to get it like for example 1 in 15 or something similar to that?
@darkassasinwolf I don't believe there is, you're meaning like the chance to take part in the Tech Alpha sessions? What we know at the moment is that pre order offers the opportunity to take part in the Closed Beta, beyond that it's a case of keep yer eyes peeled for more news, I would say!

Couple of somewhat related questions, but I didn't want to make a new thread, and I can't find the answers elsewhere.
If I preorder the game for my wifey, can we play together on our Xbox and PC? If so, is partying up the same as if you were partying with someone on the same system as you?
Play anywhere is gonna be a thing eventually, but when preordering does it make a difference if you select PC download or Xbox download for the beta?@sappyelephante A coupke of quick answers :)
Yes, you should be able to play together as long as you both have separate Gamertags that have access to the game. You just need to party up and invite each other to the game.
Your preorder beta will be whatever you selected at purchase, either Xbox or PC download, it will not be both.

@darkassasinwolf the black dog pack is what the code was for. Since you pre orderd the game you will be granted access with a code most likely when the closed beta goes live. But you won’t kee that access it will only be for 5 days and then to play the game will need the actual disk you preordered. Now if you bought a digital copy that’s a different thing.
@darkassasinwolf They should be emailing you a code shortly then :) If you don't hear anything from them I would contact them soon directly. Not all retailers offer the preorder bonuses so that is worth checking.
@musicmee I redeemed the black dog pack code from my receipt that I got. I preordered the entire thing digital instead of having to change out discs.
@darkassasinwolf Good news! There's nothing else to do... the game will show up 24 hours before the beta goes live and you will be able to download it then :)
@humlaaa You will still be able to return the item and it is at the retailers and Rares discretion whether they cancel the beta code and accessory pack. But chances of that happening are probably very slim.
