New merchant crates problem

    1. Not been given the new crates countless times today on different servers
    2. Spawning in the tavern when trying to kill meself to try make the said crates appear
      3 . New crates disappear when handing in one to the merchant

    I had this issue and contacted rare yesterday. They said they were sending the report to their teams.

    I have had some issues specifically with retrieving the crates (though, I am immensely glad to see them giving it an update!) - I have found the most likely way to get your crates is to stay perfectly still with your crosshair over the merchant representative.

    @flashkannon5118 what if you don't have a crosshair 😂😂 lol console players don't have those. But I had 90% of my crates not show up so what i would do is go buy a spear from the Hunters call or buy your captaincy supplies after you buy your crates then it will let you retrieve the items.

    Ah, to be clear, as I realize I was being imprecise in my language - I just meant keep the center of your over the merchant so you keep seeing the interaction commands (it's not as if there's a crosshair on PC either)

    I may try that hunter spear trick, though - I still need to spear a few ships for a commendation. Always good to have more workarounds in your back pocket.

    @flashkannon5118 the spear is the cheapest thing to buy i believe so i just go to that. But you can really buy anything and it fixes it

    I usually just go buy a cosmetic in one of the gold shops... But after years of doing it, I'm running low on things to buy 😂
