I don’t see how this « event » is supposed to be enjoyable since it’s just reskinned voyages that don’t offer enough currency. if I wanted to do cargo runs i would have done cargo runs.
It’s just not enjoyable to me it’s just draining
I expected more from the developers this is just a nothing burger.
This event definitely suffered from the "repeat event" actually just being a voyage that was given out quite a lot in the last two years. The last weekend at least had interesting fishing voyages and a Hunter's Call boost, which means if you didn't bother with Doubloons, you at least might have enjoyed the boost to fish stuff OR how it's easier to get HC flags (as a reaper)
Big agree. Smuggler content isnt fun to do. Its not even fun to steal since the crews doing it are so bad.
I like the premise of the weekender, use cool limited time cosmetics and special currency to drive player interaction around limited content. But the content has to be fun. And this just isnt.
This would be better if they just made a special red reaper chest in the fotd tbat sells for extra dubloons. Then we'd have reason and fun doing and stealing, and it would be built into existing progression.

Why go to a Special Fort to steal stuff, but you have to do the fort (something nobody likes doing) and defending (nobody likes to do) and then try to steal.
Where what we have is simply... Pick up, go, and deliver.
