2 months' rotation for the June Bilge Rats Weekender

  • Hi, thought I'd just throw this out there before it gets to be too far away to actually act on things.

So the next Bilge Rats Weekender has been delayed to June to assess issues with the first Weekender that just concluded, effectively skipping a month. That means no doubloon voyages, no special events, and as per the point of this post, no monthly black market refresh.

My suggestion is, because we're already losing out on the ability to earn doubloons in any serious capacity that month, why not introduce two months' worth of new stock into Larinna and Duke's black markets?

Players would have more options to look forward to earning, and it would help to re-align the "schedule" for new releases. Also, I'm just really looking forward to the return of the Hungering One Hunter's Shirt. Having two rotations in their current format would offer the best chance of it coming back.

Sorry if this got a bit ramble-y at the end, the suggestion itself is really brief all things considered. Have a nice day.

It’s not been delayed for that reason, it’s because the weekender is falling in line with the content update schedule and not the calendar in general.

The stock introduced is to last 3 weekender’s worth before new stock is added to give players maximum time to earn doubloons and get everything from the store as needed.

Hope that clears any misconceptions up.

  • Maybe they will have “something” to fill the void. But players are quick to jump ship instead of waiting.

Honestly I'm not too concerned about not having much to do in the meantime, there's a lot of stuff I can work on presently. I would just like to see an extra month's worth of stock to account for the missed refresh for may.
