Recovery of a Secret Shipment bugged

    Sorry if this has been discussed here already. Saw it on Reddit a couple of times.

    I started my first of three Smuggler's Shipment voyages and got through the siren waves normally. But now the next wave (I suppose the boss wave) won't spawn. I'm sitting here with the battle music playing but nothing is happening. I sailed to the voyage, as I know diving has caused issues for some people. I've tried launching away from the area via cannon, sailing away until the music stops and force quitting the game while away from the shipwreck and rejoining. Nothing works.

    It would be a shame to lose one of the voyages just because the game bugs out but I don't know what to try at this point. Any suggestions?

    Same issue here I'm furious that dives are bugged, the voyages are bugged, I lost interes in the event cause it dosen't work, to make matters worse because of it some other voyages are bugged too

    Yeah, same issue. Just sat with battle music, fired away and swam for 2 merms, went to ferry and back. Nothing. Wasted voyage I guess.

    I’m assuming you can only do 3 per crew as well? As we sold the doubloon chest and got 18k gold instead of 200 doubloons….?

    Same here, doing my first one solo and the last wave of sirens didnt spawn but the music kept playing. Going to the ferry and the mermaid spawn didnt work. Fuming

    I canceled my voyage in the end and lost one of them. Had a friend to play with today and got the lost 25 doubloons from his voyage. But it's frustrating that this can even happen.

    For others who might fear this bug, I noticed it probably happened because I killed the wave of merms too quickly with the Trident (in about 10 seconds). I suggest you wait for a while each wave to let the merms move about first. Hasn't bugged for me since.

    @pullagallup I just did my first quest with my son and had the same issue.
    Tried sailing away and coming back and going to the ferry but nothing helped.
    After half an hour we canceled the quest.

    Same thing is happening to me right now. Guess there's no workaround :/ Will the devs make it up to everyone who got bugged out a limited voyage, seems kind of unfair?

    @pullagallup Same issue here. It's so frustrating how rare releases buggy content and gives no compensation when something like this happens

    It happened to me in the Wilds region but not the ancient region. Maybe it has something to do with the locale?

    I had the boss was fighting it died and it despawned and won't come back

    Scuttle to new sea doesn't even fix it
