The problem with Dukes shop for OG players

    As an OG player, i’m really happy on behalf of new players who get to experience owning the same cosmetics I grinded for in earlier events like the bone crusher figurehead.

    However, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth knowing that they were introduced in events which required lots of grinding to unlock under the assumption that they were going to disappear forever if we didn’t grind to get them.

    I feel as though there ought to be some form of compensation for OG players who played in these events to get the cosmetics they wanted due to the rewards being sold as time limited which made them feel even more special and rare.

    i think the grind for the new cooler cosmetics is worse. and this whole limitation forcing you to exploit with 2 ships on a server rather than one while they also have made it harder to get 2 ships on a server together. hense the limitation of "can only do it 3x then the doubloon value converts to gold" which i guess may also confirm a change they never talked about? what happened to all the old doubloon value items as it seemed heavily implied that the weekender and reaper chests would be the only way to get doubloons. but they never confirmed any of it due to lack of transparency. anyway. windrose baby!!!! finish out this season then unstill this garbage and let this ship sink to the bottom of the ocean where it belongs

    @sheep-guy2709 all too common these days. Veteran players getting the short end of the stick. 500 doubloons for an 8 year old item that was supposed to be time limited. What a Joke…
