Port merrik deserves more player traffic

    It would be very very cool to see something put in port merrik that would draw players to go there as a main social hub. I have a few ideas that could make this work.

    1. Maybe there could be certain consumable items(an item that you would need/want multiple times, like special cannon balls or something like that) would be available for purchase only at port merrik

    2. It would be super cool if people could choose the outpost they start at, if players had this ability, you would increase the likelihood of interactions.

    3. If pvp damage wouldn't work within cannon range of port merrik, this would allow for a safe flourishing social environment.

    I want to be able to log into a server at port merrik and see 2 or 4 more ships docked there as well, ya know.

    Not sure if Port Merrick could handle it. My fps takes a massive hit each time I simply look at it.

    Everyone picking the same one, only so many can spawn...Sooo
    and players have been known to complain when they spawn and another player is there. :P
