With the recent high profile outage during a large scale stream, it’s clear that "Streamer Mode" (Replace Gamertags) is the most vital tool for server stability.
Streamers like Summit1G and Pace22 and even CaseOh when he played, rarely have these "mass-crash" issues because they utilise these settings religiously.
However, new creators coming from other games like, let’s say ARC Raiders, often aren't aware that leaking a Gamertag or not turning on Performance Counters is an invitation for server-hopping that the infrastructure isn't designed to handle.
Should Rare make "Streamer Mode" a more prominent prompt, or even a forced toggle, for accounts with high social activity? It seems unfair to blame the game's stability when the existing tools to prevent these targeted attacks aren't being used.
I realise that “streamer mode” is not the only issue big streamers have to protect them and there are other issues on the other side of things, but it’s something that I feel is being overlooked right now.
