I redeemed a code for some items in game via xbox, the transaction went through normally and I got confirmation from Microsoft through email and purchase history that it worked.
I've waited 4 days in order to see if that was the issue once I didn't receive the items and I recently found out I have to open the game on the xbox version to sycn both the steam and xbox versions.
I don't own Sea of Thieves on the Xbox version and only have it via steam, I don't have a free trial of gamepass and I don't want to spend £11 in order to get the items I already purchased nor do I want to wait 4-6 hours to install the game again.
I tried reaching out via the support website however whenever I sign in I get the message "Hold On There, Pirate You'll need to login to access this content." And this does not happen when I am logged out, however I need to log in to create a support ticket.
I've tried opening the support site on multiple different browsers, with a VPN and without and using 5G and nothing seems to work.
I'm very stuck and very frustrated and I don't know what to do.
