Bring back the Fleet of Fortune

    I had the most fun I've ever had on Sea of Thieves when these were around because it gave the skeleton fleets more purpose and it actually makes it worth the time to do that event. Rare should bring back the fleet of fortune event soon!

    What difference between fleet of fortune and normal fleet?
    Can’t recall the difference. Just skeleton ship vs player

    @burnbacon The only difference was that the cloud was red and the Chest of Fortune spawned from the final skeleton ship that was sunk. I do think it could be an event of its own though if they heavily changed the loot table to be different from an emergent skeleton fleet.

    Didn't the ships also shoot lots of fireballs, or was that a different variant? Maybe that was before the Fleet of Fortune.

    That would be the only variant that makes sense to bring back. The Fleet of Fortune was just a name given because the CoF moved. Any 'of Fortune' events should have a CoF IMO.

    Ah well if its the Chest of Fortune your after, and sole reason it makes the Fleet better.

    Might just ask to have the Chest spawn in all World Events.

    @shadowfox327533 The Chests of Fortune commendation text gets updated every time it moves so you know where to get it.

    It's in the Molten Sands fort this month.

    Oh! I haven't done Molten Sands yet so I wouldn't know. Thanks for letting me know though. We also would need more ways to get CoFs. So the fleet of fortune would be perfect.

    @d3adst1ck the Fleet of Fortune season was hilarious because that was ironically the same season that skelly ships were not repairing so a fleet would legitimately take like 2 mins to complete 😂

    Best thing to do. Remove the “know” where a chest of fortune will spawn and put it randomly in any open World Event.
    Forcing players to attempt, complete any or all WE and be amazed it had a chest of fortune inside.

    Having things become unknown would be better than knowing. Even mix in the Mega stash, that rookie pirate on his first normal fort, nobody contested and opens it up? Boom! Three Chet’s of fortunes. amazing feeling.

    Like digging up an X and not knowing what it be.
