Can't we have the "Weekend Events" have a little Friday overlap?
Basically, I (and I assume others) can only sail during the weekdays and not the weekends and can almost never take part in community weekends.
I mean, technically true... but... really, doesn't the weekend start in spirit after the workday ends on Friday? Does not my happy hour grog designate, nay, CELEBRATE the beginning of the weekend!?
sure... I'll take it happening during Rare's timezone. that's fine.
@chenzo01 maybe in spirit, but think about it, it’s also home time for the devs too at 5pm, they deserve to have the night before a busy weekend. Just easier overall for a clean 48 hour window too!
As someone who has not been able to participate in a very large majority of community weekends, I'd prefer if it was a "community week". I have no problem if the rewards are lessened to represent the length of the event and maybe stretch out the same number of pop-up plunder over the week, but it'd be nice to participate properly.
At best I can sometimes login via cloud to grab the flag and that's about it)
This is something that's always confused me seeing as we've had Gold and Glory events start on Friday and end on Monday, lasting a whole 3 days (technically spanning over 4).
I do think CW would benefit from that extra time, especially when considering how extensive certain stretch goals have been in the past.

It used to be Community Day and they finally expanded it to be 2 days instead of one, so “weekend.” But I do wonder why it doesn’t start and end like Gold & Glory. Maybe they think it’s “too valuable.” Or they don’t want it to just feel like G&G 2.0 and think Sat-Sun makes it somehow feel different.
