Where is the adventure?

    I am listening to some music, some old ones from SoT, years ago.. And keep thikning to myself: I miss the times where adventures were tough, or rough.. A skelleton fleet is nothing you take on by yourself, and it shouldn't. But now, these days you can.. there is no challages anymore. A single skeleton encounter if it was the wrong one could sink you... where is this now?? All encounters should and will be acomplished by yourself these days, and thats.... boring... I miss the fear, the fear to get sunk by PvE or PvP.. All the FEAR is gone.. Since there is empty servers and the PvE is to easy defeat.. I can sink a skeleton gallion by myself these days, heck i can even do the fleet by myself.. Before this was almost impossible if you did not have a keg or something in hand to defeat it with...

    A fleet? Forget it pal, you need more then a sloop for that! Where is this? It should be difficult!!

    Raise the diffulcty level!! Comon!!! A fleet should almost be impossible for a sloop. And the reward should ALWAYS be the same! The reward for a fleet voyage is just imbarassing, to easy and no reward.. Make it difficult as [mod removed] and give me my reward if i manage it!

    Then we come to the voyages, what has happend here??!?! Where is the voyages that take me deeeeeeep into the game and give me the rewards i want? Before you had to BUY your voyages, and a voyage could take up to 2 hours or more, thesea are all GONE!! All voyages are compleded within an hour if you got some experiance...!!! i want to be sucked into the game, i dont want to leave! Now, all rewards are useless and it takes like max 30 minuts to do everyone of them..

    What is this, give us back the adventure, give us back the stories we enjoy to play, and then.. back to the music.. what has happend Rare????!?!? You beat everyone before with the absolutly best soundtracks i have ever heard! Lets talk about some examples:

    The Passion of Souls - So good, and everytime i hear it a get a chill down my spine.. MEMORIES!! This soundtrack is so awesome i cant stop listening to it, to remember the session i had about it.. WHERE IS IT!! You have the best soundtracks of all games out there, what are you doing??! USE THEM!!
    Spectral Sails - This is in the game in some version, but the feeling that i had in the beginning is not there.. it's tooooooo easy and the music does not make you fear it like it use to do before...
    For the love of adventure - Where is this soundtrack? Give me more of it in game!!!

    Comon rare!!!! We love this game so much, but i think the fundamentals has vanished!! I dont know what your'e up to, but play these songs.. remember the magic, remember the awesomness! Get back to the awesomness, get back to the adventure, get back to the core!!

    I beg you, this game is awesome but, there is nothing in it for me anymore, i want to play but it's all to easy (PvE) and the experiance is not there anymore.. i will keep playing, but it's hard to find a reason to do it...

    Comon, play it, give it some time, give it MORE love, help us, keep it going, and just.. embrace the experiance!

    Too many people complained that things were too hard for solo sloops but too easy for crewed galleons so they had to scale them for each ship size. You should at least have the option to do a more difficult version

    IT SHOULD BE DIFFICULT FOR A SOLO SLOOP!!

    I have just lost it.. you cant give priezes to anyone! It should be difficult, gather a crew and do it! Thats the way its done! In reality and also in a game. I understand that people complain. But it should be hard. There is no challange if it isn't. It's like giving a medal to anyone who is participates.

    I started playing in March 2023 so I can’t speak on the difficulty of PvE prior to that. I’ve heard it was more difficult back in the day and I’ll take people’s word for it, but it’s the easiest pve out of any game I’ve played probably since March 2023. I figured this was because the players are the real challenge and the PvE is just the thing that brings players together.

    As for the PvP side of things, based on many (often exaggerated and borderline made up for the sake of making their point) post on these forums you’d think that victims are getting sunk 1000 times in 2 minutes after the moment they log in. 🤷

    I’m all for more difficult pve, though it seems like it would just be a matter of npcs having more hit points and doing more damage, which doesn’t seem all that exciting or difficult to me. More creative AI (I’m looking at you, Mario kart maneuvers skelly sloop) would be interesting, though.

    Well, you can only blame the Dev for catering the little small pirates who complain about everything being "Too Hard!" and tedious.
    They screamed louder than most casuals who had no problem with the game as it was, and many will say "Its better now" but those same people will come here and say "Im bored, nothing to do. Finished everything"

    @joroxir im old enough to speak about old times. PvE was never difficult per se.

    Tedious and boringish if doing solo yes. But not hard. Like new event gives off some vibes off early FOTD fun to challenge boring to do.

    All tensions came from other players interactions and longer voyages has tendency to point same or nearby island for other crew to ensure some interactions. Now with diving it's gone.
