Lost Shipment Shipwrecks

  • While every other Shipwreck in the game got updated to include the air bubbles that replenish your oxygen timer, for some odd reason the ones found in the Lost Shipment voyages from the Merchant Alliance were not.

Thanks to this, when transporting loot from the cabin without food, you'll be needing to go up for air every 3-4 crates. Considering there's typically 15-20 crates in the Captain's Cabin, that means you'll have to stop transporting look around 5-6 times, which needlessly draws out the time it takes to do so and just makes the process more tedious than it needs to be. There's no reason for there not to be air bubbles on these shipwrecks when they're in every other shipwreck.

I think it would be beneficial for the quest if these Shipwrecks were brought up to date with the other Shipwrecks that can be found on the seas.

  • Just drop the crates outside of the cabin so they float to the top.

  • The downside of the air bubbles is that you'll risk a larger chance to get another crew (too) close while you're spending time in the wreck.

I don't think I needed more than two or three fresh breaths from the loot in the captain's cabin (granted, I skip the sugar), plus two or so for the loot in the rest of the wreck.

Or just eat some food ... go above water and let the overheal do its work.

  • Solution is to take a food crate with you. Eat as you unload, dropping the crates just outside the door.

The update we need to old content is something like, Old Contient X weekend. Each weekeend during the year, you get increased rep, rewards and random bonus items for a specific voyage. So for example.

Lost shipement Weekend: chance to find a voyage of luck bottle, second ships manifest etc in the captains quarters.

    This.

But also, they updated all the other shipwrecks to have the same bubble mechanics as the LoTV ones; why not include these?

  • @rambobrad This is usually what ill do, but in the deeper wrecks you'll likely need to go up for air after 3-4 crates like I mentioned (At least that's what i've been finding myself having to do)

Sometimes if I'm stacked on food ill go down with a bunch of mangos or pomegranate and just negate the drowning by that, but its still tedious none the less.

I just don't see why Lost Shipment Shipwrecks were neglected in regard to having air bubbles added and think it'd be nice if they were brought up to date with the rest of the Shipwrecks in the game.

They've been neglected since they came out. They're still broken (shipwreck occasionally doesn't spawn) and the "fix" that they implemented not long after they were introduced doesn't even work (Captain's Quarters loot is supposed to be floating alongside the Manifest).

And then they nerfed the heck out of them when they introduced diving...so that's neat.
