Why do traps come up when cycling through your "cannonballs" if you can't load them into the cannons? I would suggest either remove traps from this selection (and to be honest, I'd rather have them removed from throwables as well). Or, just as an idea, let us load them into the cannons.
Obviously it may well end up not being used much in serious PVP but why not have it so you can load a trap into a cannon and, if you can land it on the top deck of their ship, then it just works like a normal trap that they have to disarm or avoid? I don't think this would be any more effective in PVP than firing cannonballs, fireballs, or blunderbombs, just gives players the freedom to be creative.
