@grimkneybc23 said in PvP Security NEEDED!! We Keep getting Rolled Up on and can't turn anything in. IF You're a PVP God we need your help!!!!:
@lem0n-curry we turn in after everything we do, that doesn't stop people from ambushing us when we turn in or attacking us mid fort.
Or worst of all of them getting through a siren raid without having your ship attacked cus it's a sitting duck. Smdh.
Don't have anything you want to lose on your ship when you'll be spending a long time away from it; you can put the rewards in a sirene statue and come back for that later.
Hence why we're asking for People that are good at PVP to help us. And not asking for advice.
In that case: use the https://www.seaofthieves.com/community/forums/category/51/find-a-crew sub forum.
Or look into https://www.seaofthieves.com/community/forums/category/137/guild-recruitment forum if there are Guilds that are helpful for your needs.
The only thing we struggle with is players and the 2 ancient megs. We can handle anything else the game throws at us.
I'm not rusty, there's just a large amount of people on here that are better at PVP than me and clearly not good enough to take on other pvp players because they feel the need to ambush less experienced players rather than idk actually test their PVP skills against other players on their level. Not like the game has PVP events or anything. Oh wait Arena DID exist, if it doesn't still in some form and we have hourglass. But no, they boast how good they are while ambushing players just to screw with them and not even take their loot.
Which clearly I need to State a reminder here that if you actually read the community guidelines, doing such things is against the community guidelines.
You are allowed to sing people for progression, if you are trying to get a commendation or stealing their loot.
There is no such limitation in the rules. People can get sunk because others want the supplies, people get attacked because they're at an outpost and the crew wants to turn in safely &c.
It explicitly says in the rules to never Target players. Any actions that can be construed as intentionally ruining the gaming experience for other players. Is a bannable offense.
It's right on the website.
Very clearly in the community rules.
Yes this is a pirating game, but that is the dumbest excuse anybody uses.
From the same community rules you like to quote:
Be a good sport. Sea of Thieves is a pirate game, and stealth, stealing and battles are all part of the fun. All pirates on the seas accept that, but be a good sportsman in both victory and loss.
People are not ruining your gaming experience just because they sink you - that is part of the game.
There are so many things in this game that are not in this game because this is a game meant for all ages. It's rated t for teen but if you look at the community guidelines it even says that all ages are allowed and that you should conduct yourselves with the behavior befitting that.
It also encourages people not to attack people that are trying to learn, people that are new to the game, in fact it encourages you to help those people.
Yet we just keep running into people trying to defend this toxic behavior.
From your own post:
The only thing we struggle with is players and the 2 ancient megs. We can handle anything else the game throws at us.
If you want to PVP people there is events for that.
Yeah, world events like forts, fleets &c, indicated for the whole server by a thing in the sky ...
The existance of Hour Glass and Arena before isn't to make Adventure free of PvP.
There's also very obvious signs of who is likely a good Target for PVP like you know if your ship is completely decked out with collectors and Athena stuff and you run into another with similar stuff chances are they're a good person to fight that is going to be perfectly fine with it or at least be able to hold their own.
You know what pirates did... they pretended to be normal merchants ... in SoT they might "disguise" themselves as starting crews with white sails and no special ship cosmetics ...
You're a pirate legend, you must have some athena cosmetics ... they are not an indication if a crew is of a certain PvP quality.
Not people that are literally asking you not to attack them because they're trying to learn something.
Safer Seas seems a good way to learn something about PvE undisturbed ... and then you can use that experience on the High Seas.
At the moment you join a High Seas server you should expect other crews and those crews have every right to fight you over loot & supplies or even learning how to fight another crew.
Or people you can tell are just an easy target because they aren't as experienced in the game as you.
That doesn't make you good at the game to take those people out it just makes you trash.
Trash ? No namecalling is also in the Community rules, I believe.
You can defend the bullying all you want, doesn't make it okay.
Where did I defend bulling, all I said in my first post is "Turn in more often" ...
13 year olds play this game.
Not sure what your point is here. AFAIK they like to (try to) sink other crews as well.
Y'all out here like you're actually in the days of piracy.
Yeah you know in real life you couldn't just attack anybody that you wanted to cuz you'd be risking your ship in your crew.
Real pirates only attack people for actual loot or for some type of personal gain.
Not just because they felt like it.
And in real life when that ship manages to kill you you're not able to spawn back on yours and come back on to theirs 2 mins later.
So let's stop with this stupid excuse of it's a pirating game. Smdh.
It's an adventure game. One directed at ages 13 and up. One with community guidelines. More than one of which explicitly tell you not to behave in a toxic manner.
Smdh.
Sinking other ships is NOT toxic behaviour !!
There are clearly actions that are actually toxic and if you come across people with such behaviour, you can and should report them.
