The wailing barnacle ship set is one of many time limited cosmetics that i would love to have back in the game available for purchase in some capacity! I was playing the game back when it was purchasable but was to stingy with my doubloons back then to spend it on a ship set, when I didn't really have anything at all.
I get why time limited cosmetics exist. Cause it can bring people in during said events and it's also nice for veterans of the game who have played through it all to have something no new players can get.
However some items are already brought back, and parts of the wailing barnacle set already exist for all! So why not bring back the rest?
In short I just fell in love with the hull design, the subtle light blue, weathered down a bit to show a battle hardened ship.. No other hull I would rather see on my sloop.
It just sucks that because I didn't know the cosmetics would go away back then and now there is no way for me to get them.. and with other parts of the set already available, it's somehow more frustrating because I know you can add it, but choose not to.
Anyways, I am loving my new very own sloop, hope to see it rock the wailing barnacle hull and sails someday!
