I'm sorry that I've posted this before.....but I like it so much I feel compelled to repeat.
I love the expanded range and aggressiveness of the Skelly ships.
It used to be they would pretty much avoid you if at all possible. Now they seem intent on gunning you down. I love that.
Today, I spawned at Plunder Outpost and saw the NPC-crewed Burning Blade at Lookout Point. Interesting to see that I spawned so close, but I naturally assumed it couldn't care less about me (since I was 2 whole squares away). So, I went about my business on the outpost, and wouldn't you know it - that bot came directly to my ship and attacked.
This might annoy or anger other folks, but I love the unexpected "danger".
I think it fits into the current lore as well. Flameheart is gaining power and ground - making reinforced forts and all that - seems logical to command the skellies to be more aggressive and seek out player ships - especially if the ship IS NOT flagged as a Reaper.
