Make SoT Great Again

  • Hacking is at an all time high. Hourglass has been unplayable for the past 3 days due to hackers, adventure has been lackluster in almost every aspect, and the community is tired. Players are now being cheated, and with GamePass receiving another price increase, the game will have the biggest player decrease it will ever see.

Casual and competitive players are both tired of the constant mishandling of the game, and it is 100% the developers’ fault and representatives of Rare. We need to stop using their support system (which obviously do not work) and start sending complaints to the marketplace. Players need to start voicing their opinions directly to Microsoft, as the game has clearly been forgotten.

The reason why I say this is because games like Valorant and Marvel Rivals have an extremely effective anti-cheat system or has their community driving the force of their decision making. EAC has been a total failure since it does not have any sort of detection mechanism to quickly ban cheaters, and the community support system (report tickets) are not answered whatsoever, and players will never know if their reports are taken seriously.

We need to lock in for the love of the game; There is no other game like this, and we are not going to sit here and let the flame die out.

Just to clarify. You say Hacking/Hackers. Are you, meaning they are breaking the game or your own by 'hacking' it? Such as stealing your gold, making your barrels empty and all ship damage they take is negated? Or are they Modding, flying around the map, spawning on ships, not taking player damage. Two different concepts I like to make sure we are on same page here.
(Never seen a hacker and those are dangerous)

and it is 100% the developers’ fault and representatives of Rare.

Do explain. Because, GTAO, Fortnite, CoD, Minecraft all have there own level of cheaters...but those companies do what they can and sometimes it never enough, never can or will be. Cheats are simple devices that can change with time. It not the game company fault they are made, they can only do so much until they start going down a dark road which may also result in worse things.

Your hate needs to be directed toward the people who make them cheats. That like blaming the gun companies for murders..when its really the person who bought and used them.

Players need to start voicing their opinions directly to Microsoft, as the game has clearly been forgotten.

Alright. First reasonable thing mentioned. But do you think they will even do anything? OR Can? What is the solution? How can we combat this?

The reason why I say this is because games like Valorant and Marvel Rivals have an extremely effective anti-cheat system or has their community driving the force of their decision making.

Hahaha...No. No No. Marvel Rivals I can say has just say amount of cheaters if not more compared to any game, and they arent going away. They havnt done anything to solve the problem, but they choose to say they have but its just another lie.
Cheating in video games will forever be part of the weak minded humans who desire to win all the time.

There is no other game like this

Deep Rock Galactic, No man's Sky, Grounded, Raft, Warframe, Helldiver, and First Descendant.
All Multiplayer, mass worlds to visit, collect loot, treasures, unlock stuff to progress, Any player level can join others, and personal "Season" systems to unlock more stuff.
    I know, Im being picky.

we are not going to sit here and let the flame die out.

Idk about you. But Im looking forward to next years updates and expansions that have yet to happen.

  • If you believe a player has been toxic in the game or suspect foul-play, you can report them to Xbox Live here. You can also submit a support ticket via Rare Player Support. As this is a matter for Support and not the Forums, I'll be dropping anchor here.
