    Hello, I have a suggestion for the curses in the game — it would be great to add 3 more variants for the ones from Shores of Gold, Sunken Sorrow, and Ashen Curse, so that each of the 4 crew members could have a similar look without looking exactly the same, to make it feel more coherent.
    Then, add 3 variants for the Wild Seas Curse — the first being the one from the Hungering One, and also ones for the Ancient Terror, Shadowmaw, and Crested Queen.

    Please, I'm counting on you, and best of luck to the whole team at Rare.

    The Shores of Gold curse used to have 7 different variants, all based on the slightly different version of the gold curse each Gold Hoarders representative has. Someone complained and now we all get the same version of the curse. No more fun because a few people felt like they "didn't get enough gold". They will not ever introduce curse variants

    Very easy fix. Make mulitple varations available and let people re-roll their gold curse until they get one they are happy with. One idea I recall hearing somewhere was linking gold coverage to either the amount of gold you have or your gold hoard level, interesting idea I think.

    I didnt think it was 7 variants, im pretty sure it was a totally randomly generated skin that was stuck with that account, so if you only got a single sliver of gold covering your arm or something, then you would see none of the curse with clothes.

    Considering curses are supposed to be special trophies (or at least were back then) having so little on your character that you may as well not have a curse to begin with is not removing the fun because of a few people complaining from lack of gold, it was in rares hands and they could have made it so it was still random but with no less than 50% of your body mass covered in gold or something. Its not on the players for rares choice to fix it. The system was in place and only needed changed, thats not on any players.

    I’d love to see more earned curse customizations similar to how the skelly curse progression functions. I really enjoy pursuing commendations in this game… if I actually want the reward. The most fun pursuit I’ve had in SoT is with the skelly curse because there are so many interesting cosmetics to pursue via commendation. I’m about 700 in servants and I’m still working on verdant bones, for example. I need 5 more champion streaks for it.

    My first curse was the coral curse, and I still wear it sometimes, but I do not dabble with shrines or treasuries anymore, but if there were cool coral customizations available through commendations, I’d be on it. Barnacle on my forehead please.

    @goldsmen Nope, it was based on the 7 gold hoarder representatives.
