The bug has returned where after buying crates at the merchant alliance at an outpost, I am not able to take the crates from him.
I thought this bug was patched?
I wouldn't be surprised if this issue is the same issue that affects whether your Special Voyages appear or not, or when you don't receive purchased cosmetics immediately. Doing another action seems to force it to resync.
At this stage, I think they should add an option to Larinna that you can click on if a vendor gets stuck, it would act as a 0g repeatable purchase behind the scenes but present to the player as "I'm having trouble with [trade company]" and Larinna would "go sort them out".
they mentioned like 2 months ago i think that this is a bug they just cant figure out. so the times it hasnt happened were just lucky. they said they are in the process of just reworking the purchasing supply crates from the ground up since whatever is causing the issue isnt apparent.
however now we have the same issue with hunting spears. though who needs those once you complete the commendations i dont see why you would go through the effort of purchasing and bring them to the ship
so rule of thumb dont by captaincy supplies 1st. worst case just log out and set sail again
