Can’t turn in emissary loot.

  • For the past three days, anytime I have loot aboard my brigantine, hordes of npc’s attack me until I’m sunk. A mixture of galleons, meglodons, and krakens. Up to all three at once or one at a time until sunk.

You say my brigantine, are you solo on a Brigantine ? The sloop is far better to handle when solo.

  • @bblythe73

    Thats called a coincidence.

    Happens often.

  • Proof? Video? Screenshot?

How long are you hoarding? Are you on safer seas?

  • Couple things, dont solo ships bigger than a sloop.

Pve queues, so if you're spending long time stationary, either at island or open sea...once you set off it can be common for both meg and skelly ship to spawn on you, I'd sail back to island to calm meg and kill the skelly ship there before going back out.

Lastly kraken occurs only in open seas when no world event is up, so knowing this you can also when finished at island check for world event spawns to figure out the risk of being krakened.

  • If sailing solo, use a sloop.

As a solo sloop, you should be able to handle all the pve naval enemies. The difficulty of emergent skeleton ships, megaladons and krakens are scaled by ship size.

As a solo brigantine, you run from megaladons, you might repel skeleton galleon if you're quick with firebombing the cannon line and getting holes in their bottom deck, but you'd be stuck and overwhelmed by the kraken.

  • As someone who often does solo brig and solo galley, it's just tough. You gotta go hard and fast to survive if you are soloing a ship bigger than a sloop.
