Sword Slam Attack

    Hello, i am here to suggest an idea for a new sword attack for players to use.

    As you may know sea of thieves has 2 sword attacks and those being the normal slash and the charge attack, but what if you added a third attack being the slam attack.

    In order to do the slam attack you will need to be in the air and whilst in the air you hold the attack button and your character will slam the sword down, this can either create a mini shockwave knocking players back and doing a bit of damage depending on how close you are to the player, if not a mini shockwave then just knocking players back when you hit them with the sword slam dealing quite a bit of damage.

    I feel like this would make combat very interesting in the game allowing players to use this in their sword strategies.

    I would rather have an overhead slash like the phantoms have.

    Every single week I see posts here about how the sword is too strong. People would just use it as an excuse to complain even more. As it stands, I think the sword is balanced.

    I know were in a fantasy world of pirates but....but when did our pirates become "Halo" Spartans?

    Yea the shockwave idea is stupid but just a sword slam attack in general even without the shockwave

    The shockwave no. However, the general idea has merit.

    A drop attack with the sword or knives would be cool.

    You are above a player, crowsnest, cliff, top of ladder etc. Jump on them and hit both block and attack at once for 100 damage. If you hit no fall damage taken. If you miss your blade gets stuck and you have a sort emote of you pulling it out of what ever the substrate is.
