Outpost sink

  • I think if you sink you should be able to spawn at an outpost so you can get supplies and go back and fight and so you can be able to raise emissaries

  • I think if you sink you should be able to spawn at an outpost

There's an option to "Scuttle to new Sea" in the Main Menu. After you sink, voting for that option should take you to a new Sea at an outpost when your ship respawns.

If the idea is to allow players to respawn at an outpost in the SAME server? Absolutely not. There are already huge issues with players repetitively returning to ships they've sunk to just to continue to annoy them. This would just inflate the rate they can return at, which already takes only a couple of minutes

  • What if the nearby outpost is where you sank? Game just gonna spawn you far away….(which is what more people request)

By the time you “restock” and get back to where you sank. The fight might be over and loot gone.

But that brings back another issue people seem to have. You spawning back at an outpost, restocking. While the person who sank you has to fight you again…now with more supplies…

  • Spawning is proximity based. If other players are either at the other outposts or nearby, it’s not going to put you on top of them, so that’s why an island is chosen instead.
