Sirens vs Pirates.. hear me out

ok, hear me out... i love the pirate life but, i wanna be a friggin mermaid dangit. i'd love to be the one to show up and help pirates back to their ships when they fall overboard, or bring up their treasure from an underwater temple.. or just follow one around because i'm in love and wanna dream about being "part of their world" lol... but no really, or just be a Siren, who, are jerks here, and i'm no different. i'd go around attacking pirates who fall in the water, or attacking their boats hoping to sink them because i collect their peg legs or whatever, lol. Sirens vs pirates. u'd get to create an avatar just like u would with the pirates, so there's all the fun customization and gear, but then, obviously, most of ur time is spent in the water and u'd have special quests and such. of course, depending on if ur a mermaid or a siren, ur experience will vary. Afterall, there's a war between pirates and sirens, just like the legends said...... OR... what about a 'siren curse'. where, you can complete all the treasure hunting/curse-finding tasks, and eventually get turned into a siren. which, eventho the tail is THE thing that i want, maybe u just look like a siren; full scaly skin, blacked out fish-eyes, face-fins, ocean-junk themed fashion, evil-siren scream song attack, fishy emotes, but u still have legs. maybe u can just breathe under water for alot longer, swim faster than the humans, and are weaker on land or something. like, instead of drowning in water, u suffocate when ur out of the water... or maybe, u only get ur tail when u fall into the water, but when that happens, ur stuck with the tail til u die. then u gotta fight other sea creatures, and of course the sharks, but u have the benefit of being able to retrieve deep sea treasures and such... only thing is that you cant get out of the water with any of it so u'll have to team up with a pirate or two to claim it.... i'm sure there are a million reasons this dream is a pipe dream, but i want it!! ... just sayin ;)
