New option for "Change crew"

    • The game needs an option in the “Change crew” menu instead of exiting the game, going to the start menu... I'm always looking for matches and having to keep going to the home menu is very time-consuming.

    • The option will change crew based on the current ship, for example: if it is a galleon, it will change to another galleon.
  • I’m guessing you’re talking about open crew. It would be great to have a button in the game menu that says “Find open crew,” since open crew sessions often take 10+ server tries to find active players—not just people standing idle or repeatedly joining and quitting.

  • I am not completely sure but I think people abandoning open crews are already a bit of a problem.
Making it easier to do so, would just encourage more people to do it.
Think its the same reason they made it so difficult to server hop back in the day.

  • What @TheMetalMan4011 said. I think the reason they don't have this feature is specifically to discourage people from doing exactly what you're describing. I expect they're trying to encourage people to just join a crew and try to make the best of whoever they land with, rather than cycle through until they find a perfect match.

    Good points.

But I think there are ways this kind of feature could be added without making crew-hopping too easy. A few quick ideas:

    A. Add a cooldown after using the button, so you can’t use it again for a set time or until you leave and rejoin a new server manually.
    B. Limit its use to the first few minutes after joining a crew. After that, you'd need to quit and join another open crew the usual way.
    C. Only allow it if you haven’t interacted with treasure or the ship, to prevent abuse after looting.

This would help players who genuinely want a decent crew but get unlucky, while still discouraging abuse.
Right now, it’s frustrating when I join an open crew and the only other person leaves, and then every time I quit and try join another open crew, the game keeps putting me back with the same player. There's no way to cancel or back out until fully loaded in, which just wastes time.
