i have had 1 normal matches today and have met at least 14 cheaters in one day this is very concerning
how much longer until we get a better anti-cheat

Sad thing about anti cheats is that they are never perfect.
Anti-cheat patch or update gets released, cheat makers do the same with their cheat not long after. Cheat development is serious cash for those that are good at making them.
No game is cheater free when it comes to games with players verse players. Which is why I play a lot of coop games on dedicated servers or with just friends instances.
