Sea of Thieves should create Guild only servers. That way all the guild memebers that want to play together can. It also needs to have the same reward style as "high seas" that way you can work together and have fun just grinding away.
Reason i suggest this is because lately all my friends in the guild want to play together and we cant, so it would just be nice if there was a way to do so without the "starting at same time method" and see how it goes.
New type of server

-
very good suggestion, I for example have several friends and being limited to 4 players is boring.
-
something like 3 boats per guild, with the possibility of other guilds joining as well, and of course with pvp enabled.
-
Most games that have guilds, pvp is the main objective and sot is different, it's only for pve.

What's the point of playing without earning gold or reputation? Wandering around the sea, nobody wants that. Now the possibility of other guilds joining the server, yes, that would make perfect sense.
-
Having reputation and gold received, with the possibility of the other guild stealing.
(Server limited to 3 ship per guild)

Havin' fun ? E.g. some people like to do events or encounters with multiple crews, Sail race, fighting against friends, roleplaying; just look into some of the topics about requesting Private Servers.
I'd like to see my gold and rep go up as the next Pirate, having it go up without the risk of another crew trying to take it though ... no, not so much and it goes against the vision Rare has for the game.
Edit why is "havin g fun" triggering the forbidden message ?

Those same rules can apply to a Guild Server just fine. (This also includes not allowing the Guild Emissary, just Guild Ships).
