A Couple Of Improvements To Skelly Pals

  • I think the Order of Bone and Blade skeletons are a neat addition, especially for solos moving loot around large islands.

    However, I do have a couple of nitpicks.

    1. Interaction prompts - it can be a bit fiddly when a skelly is carrying a storage crate or treasure chest to get the take prompt, as it's often over-ridden by the open prompt. So it can lead to frustration just trying to take those items off them as you juggle prompts. Personally, I think the open prompt shouldn't appear when a skelly is holding these items.

    2. Geyser damage - I was doing a couple of voyages in the Roar and it was almost comical if it wasn't so frustrating to have to revive the skellies every 10 seconds because of geysers. That's not hyperbole, I would revive them and they would immediately walk over another active geyser. Perhaps the solution here is to have them immune to damage specifically from geysers? Also, I know that snakes can also take them out but, from experience, that doesn't seem to be as much of an issue as the geysers, and you can kill snakes.

    Those are just a couple of things I wanted to give feedback/suggestions on regarding the Order of Bone and Blade skeletons. I know others may have found some other friction points, but those are the main ones for me.

  • @realstyli The geyser issue is doubled by the fact that geysers stay in the same spot for long enough that if the OoBaB skel doesn't run, they'll get double killed by the same geyser. Another addition that I think would help is making them able to help bury treasure. I was doing Hider of sizable stashes, and I had an OoBaB on the island I was on, and they didn't have the capacity to help bury treasure. I can understand that they can't start a bury, but just like digging it up, if I do the first shovel, they should be able to finish it I think.
