Every update we get new cosmetics in the outpost shops so a small "New" banner in the corner for each new cosmetic would be a small but good quality of life change.

@hegemon3 True but i drive myself crazy sometimes trying to figure out if something has been in the game or was randomly added, a few things have been sprinkled into the pirate legend shop that weren't at the end like the new throwing knifes and additional cutlass swords, from a UI perspective it just makes sense to have, once you view it the new banner could go away or it could just remain like how it does for new bilge rat commendation sections for a specific amount of time
Yeah definitely, I like to see what's new every season. It can be hard to pick it out like you say. The idea that you would have banners like the commendations is really smart, I think that might be one of the best ways to communicate it. And of course, I think they should also include an option where you can turn off the newflags just incase they are annoying. You can turn off the unstable connection indicator so I think it would be easy enough to disable the new flags
