Obviously, the wallows are broken on High Seas. 9/10 wallow are empty. My assumption is that when a player interacts with these wallows, they don't de-spawn properly, but they still count as active, which then blocks new emergent boars from spawning at other islands on the same server.
Being on Safer Seas where no other players have been on the islands before you, sailing around the map checking all the big islands, there can be anything from 1-3 emergent boar wallows on a server. Most commonly there are 2 islands with active emergent boars on the server and when you do find them, they are NEVER empty. They either have 3, 4 or 5 items in them.
I don't even understand why you can find Ancient megalodon (Redmaw or Dreaded) items in these wallows, but then make the Ancient Meg have a 0 chance of dropping Pristine Meg Tooth or Scale.
The loot pool of the emergent boar wallow is already unnecessarily diluted on top of an already insane RNG in the hunt of these extremely rare Megalodon scales and tooth.
2 wallows per server.
Sometimes the wallow has 5 items, meaning no room for random items to be dug.
Wallows can have 8 unique items from the Ancient Megalodons (Grisly scales, grisly tooth, pristine scale and pristine tooth). Items that you can literally farm by being Grade 5 Hunters Call Emissary and specifically hunting these Ancient Megs.
You can also find other type of loot like gems, merchant crates and pristine boar tusks.
The loot pool is way too big.
This wouldn't have been an issue if normal megalodons had an increased chance of spawning these pristine items, but they don't. You can kill 10 megs and get 0 pristine items.
The Kraken can drop these items, but if you are on a sloop, you only get to take out 2 tentacles before it dies. Each tentacle drops 2-3 items. Not even worth it seeing how low the drop rate of the pristine items is.
If you are on a brig or a galleon, it takes 7-12 tentacles to kill it. That is between 11-33 more items than a sloop kraken drops, but it comes with a downside.
You kill tentacles far away from the ship (each tentacle drops treasure), so the treasure will be scattered across the entire area that was covered in kraken ink in small loot piles, meaning a bunch of it will just sink to the depths.
Increase the kraken difficulty from 2 to 4 or 5 tentacles, to make it more balanced compared to the other ships. And then have all the loot spawn in one pile like everything else in the game does.
