Should the storage crate be made slightly larger (i.e. more item slots) to account for the addition of new items to the game (bone callers, traps, scattershots, merfruit)?
Idea: Bigger Storage Crate
@eligibleeel6171 Eh... I'm in the opposite mindset. I think supply limits and crate limitations should be a thing.
Storage crates have thrown off the balance of ship layouts, and it's only been amplified as new items have been introduced.
I'd sooner push for Storage Crates to be reduced to holding cannonballs, planks, and fruit exclusively and have a capacity cap on them of like 8 slots with 20 items each.
A way to disable the taking of certain items would probably fix most issues. Fireworks and bait taking up all the space is the main issue I have. Also, I generally don't need all those bananas. A simple check box system to choose the items that can be taken (and also the reverse, what is stored) would be nice. Make it easy to set up main crates and such
@sweetsandman I see what you're saying and I'm not sure whether I'm for or against it at the moment, but either way I think if supply crate limits are going to be a thing, then they should be introduced in one of the updates as a clearly intentional change.
It shouldn't gradually become more and more of a problem as a side effect of introducing new items.
