Can we confirm whether or not the Shrouded Ghost will still be part of the spawn pool for these voyages?
All I've done and all I do in this game for the last few years is solely focused around optimizing my chances of finding that precious beasty 👀

They should keep the shrouded ghost as it is until the game ends.
The only reason people care is because it's rare, the only reason people push to make it less rare is because they feel they are owed for time played, and because it's one of the few things in this game they couldn't cheese as a reg.
Let one thing in SoT stay good and significant till the end.
What a lot of people don't get in SoT is that making the box of secrets and the shrouded ghost irrelevant is just people robbing themselves of what could be.
Nobody really cares if anyone posts a screenshot of a box of secrets now, everyone knows they are handed out like halloween candy and some of them are through voyage exploits along the way.
It would be no different with the shrouded ghost. People are robbing themselves of real and organic thrill just so they can pretend something matters for status between a clique of sot regs.
Let things stay real in SoT. Too late for most things, but not too late for the shrouded ghost.
People should have the freedom to ruin their own experience, they should not have the power to take organic experiences away from everyone else to do it.
@frozenhot6847 As someone who just recently encountered and defeated the Shrouded Ghost after years of playing, I am staunchly against this idea. It would not have been nearly as exciting or satisfying if it was made more easily accessible.

As to if the Ghost should be included I totally understand both sides but my goal here is simply to see if we can confirm if we can or cannot get the Ghost from these new voyages.
I don't mind it staying exclusively emergent but would appreciate knowing so I don't warp my whole play pattern around a red herring 🦈

@frozenhot6847 I was actually streaming live while playing, looking to close out my session about then because the old lady was wanting to have lunch. Then as I altered my trajectory to avoid the other sloop I saw between me and Ancient Spire by going around the south side of Devil's Ridge, he broke the surface. So my session was extended...then again as I pulled up to the dropped loot and a skeleton sloop emerged before I could grab anything, having to drop sails and take him out as well.

Do you love it? You seem like you are someone that puts a lot of time and effort into the hunt, but do you love it?
Any success I've found is because I love the journey and whatever happens just happens. I'd be doing it if I still had zero ghosts.
There has never been a day of hunting where I felt the experience was incomplete in regards to the shrouded ghost. My joy in this has always been that it is out there, somewhere. The rarity. My joy has never been attached to "it being my turn" or "needing/wanting a commendation completed"
Something that is disheartening to me isn't that I might not ever see it again, it's that people are so focused on the reward that they take the adventure of it all for granted.
I hope you are embracing the adventure while you study and hunt. I hope you do it because it's what you love to do, and not just for the moment that hopefully happens for you someday.

I hope I didn't give the impression I grew weary of the hunt. Or felt entitled to it.
The hunt itself IS the joy for me. And why much like yourself it sounds, day after day I've dedicated exclusively to the hunt. Nothing beats that rumbling anticipation before the mighty roar of our great foe springing to the surface. I've never been disappointed to see colors other then that ghostly pink and white. Heck I'm not even sure how I'll react when I do finally find the Ghost.
I certainly want to find one but not for the prestige or the title. But to celebrate an 8 year journey with a game that changed my life 🦈💞

Having the Ghost in a voyages is a bad idea, the rarity is important. However there should be a tweek to random meg spawns. From what I understand (and I am happy to be corrected!) there is a timer of around an hour after which you might get a meg spawn. However since diving to voyages is now a thing, this resets on each new server. I'd rather see this be linked to a play time timer, rather than a server time timer. Sometimes I want to do raid voyages, and still get occasional regular megs (with the current tiny chance of a shrouded).
Though saying that, having the Shrouded Ghost as a bonus posibility after doing the Meg voyage might be workable. We'll find out the exact mechanics of the voyage next week, but assume we are hunting a Hungering One. After defeating it perhaps there should be a 0.0001% (or lower, pick a suitably low percentage) of the the Shrouded spawning and the music playing. I think it would still maintain the air of mystery and randomness. If people want to thousands of voyages to hopefully get one, then more power to them.
