  • you choose what you pledge your ship or guild to ( flame heart, pirate lord and for are neutrals the shipwright)
this can expand to as well emissaries

also, me and my friends would like to get better and fight each over but we can't since we don't have access to custom servers so my suggestion to add it to safer seas where you can invite other ships to the server or a custom server for normal players

a new big island with a deep river going though the middle of it.

moving NPC/AI on outposts to add less loner feel to the game.

hourglass: you can pick what size crew you go against for more of a challenge

thank you and please consider this in future updates

Most of these ideas has been floating around for a while already.

hourglass: you can pick what size crew you go against for more of a challenge

Why would anyone ever, willingly fight a bigger ship? would be the other way around, people go vs the smaller ones if you´re a Brig or Gally

Once you get a champion streak (4 streak) you have the option to opt into fighting larger ships. If you’re a sloop that could be a brig or a galley, so you don’t necessarily get to choose the ship size, but it’s sort of what you’re looking for.

  • @itz-majman if a gallion fights a sloop they get less rep and gold

  • ok i hear you guys on the hour glass and look at my responce to that, how about the otherthings like custome servers

  • You know what I wish was different?

Getting kicked for inactivity when you're in menus.
I was nearly done with a tall tale I was doing when it had reset my entire appearance, reset all my emotes, and erased my pets' names when I died. Annoyed and frustrated as this was the second time I had to fix it, I was going through my emotes, trying to remember exactly all the ones I had and which slots they were equipped on — when I got kicked from my safer seas session for "being inactive". I am SO FRUSTRATED with this game right now... and it doesn't even have anything to do with other players or anything lol

  • If I TDM'd against my friend, I'm only going to get better against his particular style(s). On the high seas against random crews, I have no idea what they're bringing, I don't know their playstyle, what types of tactics they use/are using, etc. This is why fighting against random crews will do better for your skill in the long run, then against people you already know.

What would be the point of this? The game already struggles with lag, stuttering, FPS, ping, random disconnects, etc. not to mention how hard the developers are working on game performance issues to resolve these things, so I highly doubt they'd add "a large island with a river going through the middle of it." without a very good reason.

If NPCs could walk around, this would be a nightmare for crews going to sell, making sure other players aren't at the Outpost waiting for them and blending in with the AI crowd. I'm at an outpost, and see a ship coming in. I eat a merfruit to hide my mermaid, and crouch so they can't see my nameplate, while blending in.

Also, champion sloops DO have the ability at that point, to fight larger ships.

If they added this feature, it'll probably end up being more frustrating than what it'll be worth. Guy on our ship had to "go for a few minutes". It's been half an hour, and the game hasn't yet kicked him, because he's in a menu screen, and we need this spot filled.

An island cut into smaller chunks that a ship can navigate through would be nice.

    Yes.

  • @europa4033 Ah, in High Seas, I get the timeout for inactivity thing. I would sort of expect it there really.
But I normally play alone in Safer Seas, and sometimes I do have to take breaks (I'm a single mom, plus basic human functions calling 😅), but I've tried sleeping in my bed on the ship to go afk and I've noticed I can wake up randomly any time, or if it starts raining or skellies attack or something. Sometimes even for no apparent reason at all. Lol then I end up timing out if I'm not back in time. Hell, even the timeout time seems random. Sometimes I can be afk for 30 minutes before I get kicked, sometimes I put my controller down to send a text back to someone and I get kicked after maybe 1 minute give or take? I can't ever time it. 😩
I just think maybe for Safer Seas, it would be a nice feature for those playing alone or with friends. 💯
