Prices changed in a negative way?

    there was recently a change to the sovereigns in regard to the hunters call loot. they made it so that the price when selling loot to sovereigns is the same as when selling to the hunters call. it would seem that what really happened is that all prices were reduced to what the sovereigns would normally pay. Even the orb of secrets sells for only 14,000 gold now. when it was selling for 20,000 before. i think that the prices should be raised to match what you would get when selling to the emissary as opposed to lowering them.

    i would rather take extra time to sell slowly to the emissary for bonus gold or lose out on bonus gold to sell fast than to just permanently being stuck with less gold no matter what i do.

    i just triple checked the price, and the orb now sells for 14,833 gold, with a grade 5 boost of 22,250. The new orb total is 37,083 which is what you used to get from being a guild emissary grade 5 which is at a lower grade 5 boost amount.
    The monstrous kraken eye now sells for 15,000 gold, with a grade 5 boost of 22,500. The new M. kraken eye total is 37,500.
    both are much lower in price now than before the "fix"

    It's because players complained that Sovereigns were "taking a cut", when Hunter's Call were actually giving a bonus (1.5x) for direct-sell.

    Rare fixed the discrepancy by removing that bonus, bringing Hunter's Call more in line with the other factions.

    The gold you get now is the intended value.

    Moral of the story: be careful what you wish for.

    While that is true for the fish, meat and gems - the Orb of Secrets is now worth 20k if you turn it in at any Trading Company (or the Sovereigns) except for Hunter's Call for which it's 14,8k. Rare seems to have made a mistake by adjusting the prices.

    Now that is interesting. It would suggest that they had manually adjusted the Orb originally so that the 1.5x wouldn't inflate the gold when sold to Hunter's Call. Turning off the blanket 1.5x, they forgot to switch the Orb value back to normal

    Only the orb is bugged and only with hunter, it was since the introduction.
