Burning Blade in Safer Seas?

  • I know this will probably never happen, but I thought I could bring up the idea.

The suggestion I had in mind for the Burning Blade being in Safer Seas was it could serve as another skeleton ship boss fight, maybe slightly harder, but if you claim the ship then waves of skeleton ships could spawn to attack the Burning Blade since there's no PvP. It wouldn't be exactly the same, but similar if skeletons were hunting you down to sink the notorious Burning Blade. They attack Flameheart's ghost ships, so why not attack his flag ship? The Burning Blade could also be limited only to 4 rituals, so after you complete 4 rituals, the world event is completed.

Of course there wouldn't be any Reaper flag or grades, but that's not the whole purpose of adding the Burning Blade to Safer Seas. It would be another thing to do, plus a few of the commendations could be completed.

  • Sinking it. Sure but not able to claim it. Why claim a pvp type of ship?

  • @burnbacon

Well like I said, waves of skeleton ships could spawn to fight you constantly. Without the waves of skeleton ships, it would be bland in Safer Seas. It'd just be another boss fight. It's an idea to be able to use and experience the Burning Blade without the chance of seasoned players or most of the server sinking it right after it's been claimed. It's kind of like a race if you can complete the required amount of rituals before the skeleton ships sink the ship.

  • Rare said that Safer Seas won't have features the High Seas hasn't, si I think you're right with "I know this will probably never happen".
