With the great release of Season 15 and the content we know we are getting. I would like to share my idea of an update that would act as a spiritual successor to this. Like My Ashen Tides topic I'll start with the smaller stuff then end with the larger idea.
New Wildlife
Across the Sea of Thieves new wildlife has appeared both under the waves and on land.
Jaguars
Upon the Larger Islands of the Sea of Thieves, Jaguars have been spotted-These ferocious felines will not only hunt the wildlife of the islands they inhabit but also players. They lurk and camouflage in the environment and will pounce on an unsuspecting pirate. However, defeating these big cats will reward players with a Jaguar's tooth and pelt which can be sold to the Hunter's call.
Crocodiles
Found within the rivers and lakes of the islands of the Sea of Thieves, these reptiles are fiercely territorial and will attack and player or animal that comes near their nests. A new Hunter's call voyage will task crews with sneaking into their nests and stealing their eggs.
Tigerfish and Pihana's
These fish are much more aggressive and are found within the lakes and rivers of the islands within the Sea of Thieves.
Sea Turtles
found roaming the island beaches and the shores
Eels
Found within the Siren Shrines and Treasuries of the Sunken Kingdom
Stingrays
Found in the shipwrecks and the Sunken Kingdom
New Shark breeds
From Tigersharks to Mako Sharks. New toothy terrors have surfaced to make the waters a swimmer's nightmare.
Whales
Ambient Creatures that will swim alongside the ships of the Sea of Thieves.
Large schools of Fish
Found in the open waters or above the shrines of the Sunken Kingdom, these large schools of fish will be an excellent way to catch a bounty of food.
Crabs and Lobsters
These Crustaceans can be found on beaches or the sandbanks of Islands of the Sea of thieves and are a great way for food and reputation for the Hunter's Call.
New tools and Voyages
This update brings new tools and a new voyages
Fishing nets
Found on island shores these nets can be used to catch the large schools of fish
Hunter's call Fishing Net Voyage
The Hunter's call will provide players a large fishing net and location of a Shrine or Treasury of the Sunken Kingdom. Once over the Location the crew will cast the net must work hard to bring up the bounty. A mistake may lead the net to rip causing the Voyage to fail.
Crab Trap Voyage
A new voyage will give players an island to check where they might be able to find a bounty of crabs and will be given crab traps in order to catch them.
The Thundering Terror World Event
A new world event will be introduced in this update, Introducing the Sea Dragon World Event, a battle with The Thundering Terror
First Phase
Upon the seas A Large Purple Tornado will appear on open waters where an ancient terror has reawakened. This Sea Dragon is more terrible than any Sea monster ever faced. Players during this phase will have to fight off against the Dragon's bite and tail slash attack. Hitting it with Cannonballs will progress to the next stage.
Second Stage
The Sea dragon will now get angrier and thus will now have new attacks. The lightning and poison breath which will rain devastation on the Ship and its crew, and the cursed wrap attack; were the Sea dragon will wrap its serpentine body around the player's ship squeezing it. Aiming for the eyes of the Sea dragon will cause him to let go. Which will continue to the final phase
Final Phase and rewards
The final phase will see the final and most devastating attack of the sea dragon. the Maelstrom ability. The Sea dragon will swim fast in a circle and will cause not only a whirlpool to appear but a violent storm that rains down poisonous purple lightning from the sky. Crews that manage to survive this attack and manage to slay the beast will be rewarded with Coral loot, Breaths of the Sea, Sea Dragon's Scales and Teeth and the valued Eye of the Strom which can be sold to the Hunter's call
