Port of the Brethren

  • Daggertooth gets taken over by the dark brethren and becomes a shady port.

Much like Port Merrick there's stone roads unique buildings, but it's more grimey. You can occasionally see rats running along the baseboards. It can be like a Tortuga.

Somewhere in the port is Duke's hideout (Likely on the North side) . His name is changed to "The Duke", and he sits in his own large chair like the pirate lord does. Maybe you put Duke where the Sovereigns are, hinting that he's getting a cut of their profit.

The Sovereigns have kinda made it not matter which outpost you sell at, but for years we would skip over Daggertooth and go to Galleons Grave. Of all the outposts to become a port I think Dagger would be the most unique and deserves it.

  • What would be the best name for it?
“Port of the Brethren” is too wordy.

  • but for years we would skip over Daggertooth and go to Galleons Grave.

Who or why skip any outpost?

  • Why not replace the sea dogs base in the center of the map with that. Making a central port to the whole map. All things sold there under any flag have a 15% boost causing pvp to be directed to the center of the map especially because it’s close to reapers hideout. All commodities sell as if in demand there too!

  • @burnbacon Especially if you had a lot of loot it took longer to sell at Daggertooth.

  • @pofoof I’d like to see Daggertooth get a facelift.

It’d be super cool to see the seadog tavern used in some way, but probably not a port.

  • @jaxycafe what would you like to see it as instead? I mean the other obvious idea is a gate to a new map. Would be a way for them to expand the world without overcrowding servers.

  • @pofoof There’s a giant horn at the top of the SeaDog tavern. I think we should be able to blow it and announce to the server we want to hang out.

It’d be cool if it was a hub for competitive voyages similar to the Siren Song. I’d want to design a game where boats race through rings the mermaids put up. Definitely a way to tdm on an island and try and raise your flag all the way up to win.

It would be a good spot to go to a new map, but we already have the sea of the damned rocks all over.

  • @jaxycafe I hate those rocks
