Ships order options

  • When I get into the game, as always I go:
Adventure -> High seas -> Sail for a Guild -> Select a Guild -> Select a Guild Ship.
But when I get into the last selection, I have my ship as the first and then... I don't know what's after; other people's ships.

What I suggest is to set the order of that list in a way that attract more interaction between players. So may be put the ones that has a spot free and are open to join first. Even before your own ship. So you can join others instead o start from scratch.

Currently I have the list open and the first ship with uncompleted crew is at page 7 of 8. So if I don't go 7 PgDown, I'd never see it.

  • To be honest, I like the current order.
If there are ships sailing on the ocean within your guild, you are:
“Adventure -> High seas -> Sail for a Guild -> Select a Guild”
At this point, you can see your guild information.
The upper left corner shows the number of guild members,
In the upper right corner are guild member ships and ships currently sailing.
In the middle are the level and name
If they really need to modify the order of the arrangement based on the reference opinions.
I hope they give players the freedom to choose.
I don't like other people's boats sailing in front of mine.

  • Currently I see who is out sailing, then my own ships. I think the system works fine.

If I was going to change anything it would be info on all the guild members as leader/owner.

    Days since last sail.
Days since last sail for any guild
Total days sailing dor all guilds.
Days since last sail for our guild
Total days sailing for our guild
Total guild rep earned for our guild

Coz my guild has had the problem of members disappearing, we know the core group but if someone stops playing or interacting with our guild they are taking up space

Yes. You can see the number of ships that ar on the sea, but it doesn't mean they have a spot you can join to. And if we have 50 ships in the guild, I have to look over every page to find out to which one I can join. Besides, that information is also mischieving because most of the ships that says "you can join", you really can not. May be because players wants other players that only use controllers (and when that happens the game actually closes the entire selection instead of create a simple notification), or because by the time I got to the page of that ship, somebody else joined and the spot is no longer available, or.. whatever.

So, because of that, I only ask for the possibility to order it using filters. As many other lists in the game in which we can filter the results by pressing "1" (on PC at least).

It is not a big deal I think. And with time, people would understand that it is very useful.

  • @captthreepwood I'm pretty sure it shows ships with available spot, then open ships (starting with your own), then they put all the full ships way at the end. That makes perfect sense.

Ok... so there is something I am not understanding. This is a screenshot I just made:

MF Boom has an empty slot (although is closed) and is in page 7 of 9. And as you can see, Paddlefoot, War Pig and Uh oh they saw us are empty as the previous (6 ships times 6 pages) 36 ships.

    O_o

  • @captthreepwood if it's closed it goes to the back, same as a full crew

I see. So the only problem would be the bug of putting-ships-in-which-potentially-I-could-join-but-because-of-requirements-like-only-controller I can not, on the begining of the list, right? Because with that logic, those should be placed at the end.
