looking at the trailer that recently dropped, along with the name and the map update it seems this season is going to be heavy focus on the hunters call, and in particular for this thread megladons, so i think its time to dust off the banjos and bring back the summon the megladon shanty mechanic to the game, (i don't know how it originally worked but this is how i envision it working)
- You can only use the summon shanty in open water/where megladons naturally spawn
- for a meg to spawn everyone who is part of the crew has to play the shanty
- you wont be able to summon the meg if there is already a meg summoned, either naturally or from the song
- the same duration from having a meg spawn naturally and being able to summon a meg are in play
- basic megladons are less likely to spawn from the summon the meg so use at own risk
