UI Improvements - "Save" button in Emporium and "Favorite" and "Archive" buttons for Clothing and Equipment.

  • Emporium UI Improvements

There are plenty of one-off items, emotes, and ship cosmetics in the Emporium that have caught my eye over the years. However, for various reasons, I might not have bought them at the time—too few ancient coins, an upcoming Emporium event, etc.

If only there were a way to save an item for later, and maybe even get notified if it goes on sale. Perhaps a "Save" or "Favorite" button?

With a brand-new tab for your saved items, whenever you find an Ancient Skeleton, you'll know where to look to spend your money.

    Equipment UI Improvements

A similar feature might be useful in the Clothing, Vanity, Weapon, or Equipment chests. I imagine most of our inventories are clogged with items we bought as swabbies, things purchased to flex on crewmates, or drops we received but don't plan to use.

Something as simple as "Archive" and "Favorite" options would help the issue in a major and elegant way:

    • That headband you're too attached to in order to swap? Favorite it, and always have it at the top of your headwear selection.
    • A jacket that's a bit too rugged for your liking? Hide it in the archive.
    • Do you want to get into the role of a Gold Hoarder each time you raise their emissary? Why not favorite the costume for easy access?
    • Those neon gloves from a Twitch drop a while ago that don't fit your style at all? Archive them!

    But how would they function?

    Favorite items

    • Press a keybind with an item selected to favorite it.
    • Press the same keybind with a favorited item selected to remove it from your favorites.
    • Favorited items get a small visual cue to signify they are favorited (perhaps similar to the "limited" ribbon on Emporium items or the glow from Tall Tale-specific cosmetics).
    • Items marked as favorites get placed at the very top of their respective categories.
    • A new tab is dedicated exclusively to favorited items.

    Archived items

    • Press a keybind with an item selected to archive it.
    • Archived items do not appear in their respective categories or in the "All" tab.
    • Instead, they go to a new "Archived" tab in the chest UI.
    • Using the same keybind as before, but in the "Archived" tab, would bring the item back to its category.

  • While this’d certainly be great, the thing I want first and foremost is simply a better organization and condensing of the chests. There’s so many recolors and alternate models of things, and yet, they each take up a full slot in the cosmetic chests. I really want them to make it so any variants or redesigns of one item are simply condensed under their original piece. The Sea Dog Cutlass, Heavy Sword, and Rapier, along with their color variants, could simply be selectable under one panel labeled “Sea Dog Swords”, etc. or Collector’s and standard versions of Emporium ship sets could be kept together rather than taking up twice the space in the menu.

Also, please just add a separate tab for Collector’s Pets, so normal pets can be together. If you own a lot, it’s easy to get cluttered with all the varieties.
