The Skull of Siren Song was terribly unsuccessful. The only reason to do it is for commendations, and once you're done with them, you won't do one ever again; even if you find someone doing it, you won't come pick up a fight because you won't want to go through the trouble of going up to Briggsy.
Now why is that? The answer is simple: it does not give any kind of progression at all beside a pouch of gold coins once you are done with the commendations.
Briggsy gets the siren skulls for Ramsey, so why is it you don't get Athena's Fortune reputation and emissary bonus when turning in the skull? If this were to happen, I'm sure it would bring back interest for the voyage and encourage people to begin it and fight for it as it was intended. Also, you should be able to sell it to the Reaper's Bones for half the price or something.
Also, not being able to turn in the skull if you didn't have the voyage voted up needs to be fixed. In fact, we shouldn't have to vote on the voyage for these things, we should be able to see the beacons at all times, or at least the markers on the map table. Make it so the only thing voting does is give you the maps, a closer respawn and the beacons. Make it so we can see the markers on the map and are able to hand in the skull if we don't have the voyage up.
