Series X: Cant place circles with a mouse on the map table

  • Hey there,

for some reason I can't place circles with a single click on the map table. It's like it's placed and then removed again. If I try really hard with double/triple clicking, the circle stays.

I'm playing on Series X. Can anyone help me? It works perfectly well when I'm using the controller.

  • @niknok09 does this same thing also happen for you when you try to right click supplies in a barrel? It’s meant to store one. But it clicks twice for me and stores two.

Yes, I just tested it: It does the same thing for me. How about you and the map table issue? There has to be some kind of issue with mouseclick recognition on Xbox.

I tried it on Xbox Cloud Gaming as well, so its not the hardware I'm using. Plus Xbox Cloud Gaming runs on Series X blades, so its technically the same.

  • @niknok09 yep. Seems kbm on xbox is bugged.

    Support answered me:

"We just wanted to assure you that our test team are continuing to look into your report. In the event we are able to diagnose the circumstances and uncover a problem we will look to address this in a future update.

As you can appreciate, the time taken for these investigations can vary considerably. As such, we are unable to go into more depth at this time. For this reason, we will be marking this support ticket as solved but please rest assured that we take all reports from our players very seriously and this report remains active in our internal systems."

So now we can only wait.

  • @niknok09 that seems to be their generic automated response message… and usually nothing at all happens when they respond like that. Guess we’ll have to hope and pray.

  • @klutchxkay Unfortunately, the team will not report in your ticket about the bug-fixing progress. You will find the bug fix in the update notes when it will be published.

  • @erissar I get that… but that particular response comes up far too often, no matter if it’s a bug report or not. Whether it’s a graphical blunder, or a typo, or a glitch, or even an inquiry about something’s function, or a a request for help after lost progress, I’ve been responded to with those words verbatim. I know the point of it, but it seriously makes you wonder why you bothered asking if you coulda predicted the answer. Support’s very, very hit or miss, I feel.
