At this point, all we know is that these features will be available later in the season. My question is, how long will it take?
There is no excuse for the Chest of Fortune not to be in the FOTD. It was there once before so we know that the coding exists. I imagine that Rare still has the coding saved so that should have been fixed by now.
The hanging and the traps I can understand why they were delayed because it’s a brand new mechanic.

My not so professional answer is... When it is ready. I was bummed out about those mechanics not being here right away as promised, but I'm glad because there's already bugs I've experienced with the blowpipe in itself, which is disappointing.

I believe it's an overlook to why it's in the patch notes, maybe we can just assume since they took extra time for maintenance to remove those features ( Hanging & Traps ) on a crunched time. That this might explain why the Chest of Fortune's " new " placement has been delayed from the Burning Blade to the FOTD as it was crunched and probably overlooked when trying to remove said features for the new season because they weren't ready.

An oversight 🤣, in the patchnotes they stated the move, then they come and say: “yeah so we did place it in FoTD but forgot to remove it from the burning blade”
And then they updated that statement with: “whoops we forgot to move it alltogether”
Quality control is severely lacking

You do realise that when Rare makes a change in the game like that, the servers will have to be taken down. Even if it is for 10 minutes, that would mean loads of players will have their session cut short or perhaps they won't even start SoT up that day if they're aware of the servers being taken down.
Have some patience, hopefully they'll have an update this week or the next with probably more fixes than the CoF.

I was simply pointing out that they were probably flustered and took it out of the update for the season and didn't realize because they were only trying to adjust Traps & Hanging that's all, just a thought.
In fairness I used overlook because I don't think the definition of oversight fits here.

Thanks for your help. Although it doesn’t say much, the server maintenance hopefully should move the Chest of Fortune. Maybe if we are lucky, we might get some or all of the other disabled features
I want to say it will be soon, but for some reason it seems like rare never drops patch updates, when they have fixes it seems like they just sit on them until the next scheduled update. So even if its fixed now in their systems, it likely wont drop until the next outpost cosmetic drop or something similar.
Personally i dont understand why they do it that way, if something is bugged, and they fix it, they should release the fix to stuff when what ever fixes are being made are done, rather than wait for scheduled cosmetic and content drops. Though they have a couple times released fixes for serious issues sooner, but they should do so more often than just when the game is suffering.
