Hello, I have currently been banned for the very first time. I would say I'm a regular hourglass player who runs about 10-20 games a night. On this night me and two of my guild mates set out on a brig and begin our fights. After two normal fights we dove for our third fight. When we were to come up out of the water for some reason our boat did not come up, instead we got stuck unable to move under the water and began to drown. After dying and coming back to life, we were free to move. However their was nothing we could do to leave or re dive no votes could be place for any quest & our hourglass had the message, "cannot vote to cancel battle in progress". After some time we figured out our boat was actually moving & what had been happening to us was also happening to the opposing crew. We ended up seeing them firing cannons after some time and had a very strange fight that took place at the bottom of the ocean. We ended up winning the odd encounter yet our boat remained under the water, and couldn't dive due to the being in a battle message still on our hourglass. We had a 3 streak going and did not want to just leave the game. So we thought maybe there was a way we could maybe get ourselves out of this situation the game had put us into. Mind you in my six years of playing this game I've never once encountered this sort of bug. So after collecting the other boats flag we began sailing next to what appeared to be a mountain from under the water at an attempt to harpoon on to the land and forcefully pull our boat out of the water. As we begin harpooning we started getting wins. Without diving without someone coming up to fight us, just getting wins. it was happening so frequently it was about a win every 45 seconds impossible for someone to finish a game in that time. As we climbed this underwater mountain slowly we all had gotten disconnected and banned for what seems clear to me a bug in the game that if you are unaware of will result in a ban. Now I'm over 160 in servants and over 110 in guardian's. I have zero reason to be boosting I did not altar my game in anyway and I play on Xbox where I've never hacked or cheated. Even after describing my situation, I just got a link to the pirate code of conduct and was told nothing could be done. I've been playing a long time and have supported this game even after purchasing it. What I'm wondering is if I'm going to lose all my progress and is there any reasonable developer out there who can reduce how long I'm banned for. I received a five day ban for something I had no control of as well as it being my very first offence ever with Sea of Thieves. I believe this was super unreasonable and unfair, this being my favorite game I truly wish I don't have to stop playing it over something as this.
