Back in Season 12, the launch was so rocky that load times from clicking "Play Game" to starting in a tavern took 10-15 minutes. However a week or two later these issues subsided.
Now randomly today these wait times have returned and I've 100% cleared my computer of any issues, so I'm going to say that our good 'ol EAC system is memory leaking and causing the issues.
