Hourglass loading screen

It's extremely annoying and upsetting the amount of times I've been stuck in a eternal loading screen while fighting hourglass. It's always the same thing, I die and when I try to come back I get stuck in the loading screen. Last time I waited for around two minutes, listening to my ship take shots and sink while staring at a black screen with a green wheel on the bottom corner. When the fight is done I load back in the game to the lost battle animation.
