Private server

    Can we get private server option. Similar to safer seas but your friends can join on their own boats.

    lol that literally defeats the purpose of high seas which is that you get rewarded for playing in a server where other players can attack you.

    The best you could hope for is Rare releasing Custom servers to other people than partners; no gold or rep though.

    This could only work if gold, reputation and commendations were disabled, and for most people that would probably defeat long term purpose of these custom servers unless youre planning on hosting tournaments or something

    SOT is a live service game, it needs players to keep the game going and not grind in private servers. You want to play with your friends, go out there and convince other crews to lend you their ship.

    For a long time now. There been whispers of custom servers…where your able to control stuff

    But those are for events and special stuff. Not simply to play and complete stuff

    Sure, but with no gold, rep, or achievements earned. If there's zero risk of being attacked/sunk by others, there should be zero rewards.

    Oh I wish we all had access to them. They sre a great place for fun. Pvp match ups, races, games, sotshots, and more. I've enjoyed my time on custom servers.

    Something like custom servers for everyone would be great. Zero progression of course. I'd love to be able to practice pvp with my friends

    I could see allowing you to invite another ship into safer seas working also. Disable alliances and any commendations requiring stolen loot and such. But I see no issue with people grinding their 30% rewards together.
