upon sinking a ship you can use their ship in a bottle as a trinket for your ship, their would be a small wooden stand for it with a nameplate for the ship, there is also an option to "Inspect Ship" which will let you sea the ships log and who captained it. it would look similar to this

I don't even want to imagine the amount of coding, memory, etc. this would take. We already have enough bugs and glitches to worry about, and now we get to have our opponent's ships as trinkets, complete with their name and ship log? Don't see a point in it. I mean, you could simply record your session instead if you want to remember each and every ship you sink.
